★★★★★★★★★★ Keeps Patio Much CoolerI built a covered patio and the side facing to the South can get really hot in the afternoon here in South Florida. I made a frame out of 1-inch schedule 40 PVC pipe and connectors (14 feet long by 5-feet wide) and sewed this beige sunshade material over it to block the sun rays. It works as advertised; blocking the hot sun but still letting plenty of light and air through. It's very light so it doesn't add much weight to the covered patio's frame and its light weight it easy to install as well.Note that I didn't glue the pipes or connectors just in case I need to take it apart. I did use screws at every connection so the frame stay put. It works and I recommend this shade.9 people found this helpful
