How to take measurement?
1.Measure the distance from one post to the next.
2.Based on those measurements, subtract 1-1.5 feet,For example, for a 13' x 13' x 13' measurement, we suggest purchasing 12' x 12' x 12' Sunshade Sails due to our special curved design that stretches in length.
Notice:
If water is allowed to pool in the center of the sail, it will slowly drip through, Some water may also drip through the stitching on the seams, but if the sail is installed at at 30-45 degree angle with enough tension, most rain water will run off,Please refer to the installation illustration.
These sails should not replace a tarp if you need to keep something 100% dry,We really don't recommend to use it in windy area as it can catch a lot of wind to rip,Please choose our breathable HDPE sails if you are in windy area.

I like the square shade over the triangular ones as they provide more coverage and is easier to install exactly where you intend it to go. In order to keep the sail tight (it will last longer if not flapping in the wind causing extra stress on the sail) I recommend getting a Sail installation kit with a winch to help tighten the cables and sail.

I was hoping a tarp of this size to have at least 2 more on each side. However the tarp feels durable, looks amazing and is pretty light weight for it's size. This covers roughly 80% of my patio which will be great to be able to enjoy the outdoors without the direct sizzling sun while not have to huddle around each other at the same time.

As it recommends to dig at least 2 feet down with an additional foot for the legs to attach to each corner, then they say to add cement. There are other suggested items like brackets that they sell, that would have been wonderful to include. For the price it is ok, but you will need a lot of other materials increasing the cost of this, which was somewhat expected, but not as much that is needed. The cover itself looks to be of great quality and the stitching looks good at all the contact points. I bought new carabiners to hold the weight and for added stability. I have not washed it yet and I do not know the longevity of the fabric or mildew resistance.
