The weighted rods are heavy and sturdy.The shade fabric is manufactured well and should last many years.I had no problem assembling the rods, they screw together and slip into the sewn hems on each end....not too tight not too loose.There are several colors to choose from but I have the neutral tan which blends in well with the surroundings and does allow for some light.I am satisfied with this sun shade.

This thing was the perfect width for my patio and I was able to jerry-rig it to install on a non-pergola. The material is thinner than I had hoped, as we live in the windiest city in the country and will get beaten quite a bit. While the weighted bars are fairly heavy, they aren't heavy enough for high-wind areas; we had very strong gusts of wind, and one of the weighted bars ended up on the roof of my house. It would have been nice if this included zip ties. In terms of value, it seems it is on the higher end for replacement parts, but still a good value nonetheless. RECOMMEND.
