★★★★★★★★★★ Innovative RatchetI ordered this kit primarily for the ratchets, I prefer coated cable vs. The bare that's included. The ratchet beats most other options for it's ability to be placed at any point on the line after you've established both ends. The versatility tops the single point anchored ratchets. Kit would be 5 stars, however the included screws for the the face plate mounts are frankly pretty tiny. In the photo you can see I used a larger diameter and significantly longer anchor screws.

That's normal I suppose.Over time, I can see the cable failing if you fluctuate the tension using new spacing on the same winch.The carribiner that comes with is somewhat smaller than I thought should. But didn't matter to me, I was replacing them anyway.The pre-fab loop in the cables could have used a thimble.It was priced accordingly in this time period.

★★★★★★★★★★ Fragile ratchetProduct is mediocre. The ratchets were not high quality and mid tightening one of them snapped. Fortunately the flying shard of metal didn’t hit anyone or anything. We were able to word around it with some extra turnbuckles we had laying around and the other two have been holding up so far. The use of the ratchet is much easier in general than a turnbuckle, just the quality is not the greatest.
