★★★★★★★★★★ Would buy again if it broke, but it keeps goingGreat bit for what I needed. Equivalent bits were well over $100 from the name brand and this one had no issue going through our concrete slab and hit rebar.

★★★★★★★★★★ Requires an SDS-compatible rotary hammer, will wobble like Little Egypt in a regular drill chuck. This bit is designed for an SDS, SDS Plus or SDS Max rotary hammer. These are generally big honkin' things that require a cord. If you try to use this is your ordinary battery drill, even a hammer drill, with a standard chuck, it's going to wobble all over the place. It WILL work, it's just going to take a lot longer, it's going to wear you out faster, and your hole is going to be a lot bigger.I tried drilling a hole through a 6 inch thick solid concrete basement wall using a Porter-Cable 20V hammer drill. It worked, but it took me several days as I kept overheating the battery. It was also very exhausting work, as the wobbling bit created a tremendous vibration in the drill which I felt all the way up my arms. I kept at it because I needed the hole, and I didn't want to buy a proper rotary hammer just for one lousy hole.I wouldn't recommend buying this bit unless you have the proper tool to use it in, except maybe if you're like me and it's a one-off. Just buy a narrower bit than you think you'll need. This 1-1/4" bit drilled a hole at least 1-1/2 inches wide. If I'd used a proper rotary hammer it probably would have been closer in size.

★★★★★★★★★★ Money well spentGreat buy for what you get. Bought this to drill through a brick fireplace. It made quick work of 6” solid red brick
-
★★★★★★★★★★ worked very wellI needed a couple 1" holes in a brick wall for drain lines. Solid bit. it held up very well to the brick and cut a nice clean hole.
-
★★★★★★★★★★ Awesome.Heavy duty and works great through concrete
-
★★★★★★★★★★ Did the job in very hard concrete.Drilled 16 1 1/4" 3 "inch deep holes. Bit and cutting surfaces still look good. Can't beat it for the price.
-
★★★★★★★★★★ Surprisingly good bitI drilled a hole almost 12" deep, through unusually hard concrete and this bit performed well with enough bite left to drill additional holes. As a general contractor for years, i would buy this again.

★★★★★★★★★★ Excellent drill bitI put this sds-plus drill bit into my hammer drill and it seemed like only a short while before I finished plunging a pair of ten-inch holes into concrete. Very pleased with its performance.
